Khisho Sunday Inspiration – Courage

In one of the games of the epic 1997 match between Garry Kasparov and Deep Blue Computer, under pressure, in some position, Garry Kasparov was left with 2 options: either retreat his Knight to the 8th rank or put it on an aggressive square. One of the annotators of the game was like:”Retreat is not in Garry’s style of play”. Indeed the courageous Garry did not retreat.

May you be injected encourage in whatever you. Without courage you cannot do anything worth talking about. Courage is a very important ingredient of success.

Like in the book, Alice in wonderland, the lion asked for courage.

Don’t show the enemy signs of fear, you will be defeated but rather show courage.

In the Book of Joshua, God is telling Joshua to be strong and courageous because strength without courage is nothing, and it is God that will give you courage.

In whatever you are doing. Whether studying , business , etc, you need courage as one of the ingredients. Ask God to inject you with courage.

A brilliant mind is not enough, strength is not enough, strategies are not enough to make you succeed, but they must be coupled with courage.

It doesn’t mean the element of fear will not be there. Actually courage is being afraid, and you go on to do the assignment anyway. To be courageous is to defeat fear.

You have to be courageous enough to trod on that lonely professional route which not many people you know have gone into.

You have to be courageous enough to take that tough exam.

Have the courage to continue the fight in whatever you are doing when things seem not to be working your way. Don’t concentrate on the prickling thorns but concentrate on the gold at the end.
