Online course provider, Blue Frontier Path is once again hosting an over-the-board (OTB) chess tournament this coming weekend on Saturday 17-06-2023. LAUNCHING CHESS Tournament will be held at the Grey Owl Spur restaurant in Centurion and a limited number of players will be allowed due to the space constraints of the restaurant so register early.
This would be the third tournament for BFP and the second at the Spur restaurant. Previous winners of the tournaments were Johannes Moche who won the maiden edition and then IM Johannes Mabusela won the second edition. Early participant arrivals (between 08h00-08h40) will be served a FREE spur Unreal breakfast.
There will also be a 15% discount on all meals of parents of registered players.
Tournament Structure and Registration
The tournament will be split in 2 main sections A and B. Entry for section A will be R300 and for section B R220. There will be a total of 5 prizes per section.

Over and above the prize money, a R100 Spur voucher will be given to all winners including and an additional R100 voucher for their coach/parent/partner.
