This is an insight of the Botswana future senior national ladies team players.
One who surprised many by being part of the team is WFM Besa Masaiti who is one of the most talented junior ladies chess players.
There also is WFM Naledi Marape, WCM Natalie Katlo Banda and Refilwe who are in my opinion Botswana’s future Olympiad chess team players.
They played very well during the Botswana Junior International Chess tournament which was organised by Limitless Minds Chess Academy a brainchild of
FIDE Arbiter Keneese Katisenge, a former member of the Botswana chess Federation. In this article are the excerpts of the above mentioned players. The sky is the limit to the vibrant upcoming stars of repute to be. WFM Naledi Marape also defied odds by becoming one of the National team’s Top eight finishers in the ladies section, just eleven years of age. She has a lot of potential. She can become the youngest player to represent Botswana at international level and donning the national team colors for the seniors.
