He is tied at the summit with another Malagasy FM Ralison Milanto Harifidy who beat Paulino Domingos of Angola.
In other mouth watering 3rd round game, IM Rodwell Makoto of Zimbabwe beat CM Donaldo Paiva of Mozambique, while another Malagasy Razanadrakotoarisoa Toavina beat IM Providence Oatlhotse of Botswana.
As it stands now Razanadrakotoarisoa is on 3rd position with 2 points while Kayonde is on 4th also with 2 points.
In the forth round , its Malagasy derby of IM Rokatomaharo and FM Harifindy on board 1, while IM Kayonde takes on Miguel Segio on board 2 (both at 2 points). FM Razanadrakotoarisoa takes on IM Rodwell Makoto on the third board( both at 2 points)
Meanwhile Angolan, Caxita Esperance, is leading the ladies category with a maximum 2 points.
