If you can describe her in one phrase it must be this one: ” Friendly and smiling”. She is naturally beautiful and the smile on her face adds more beauty to that which she already exhibits. Her name is Tatenda Zengeni, one of Zimbabwe’s top female chess players.

A lot of people do not know the power of a smile, and for that purpose, they try to do a lot of things without getting results, or try to force their way into places a smile would have made easy. A smile is the universal language of friendliness. One of the greatest gifts you can give to humanity and yourself is the gift of a smile. Somebody said “A Smile is the key that fits into everybody’s heart”, and another person said ” Of all things you wear, a smile is the most important”.

Despite tough times, learn to smile. Smiling eases pressure. Smiles take away wrath (in most cases).

I once saw an angry man who sobered up, when somebody smiled at him. You can turn a person’s bad day around with just a smile.

“Life is too short to go about it with a frowning face”, this is a popular quote that has eased the mind and purified the heart, of a number of angry people.

Next time you are angry or someone around you is showing some symptoms of anger, just smile, you will see the wonders of a smile.

Smiling and laughter makes you live a healthy life. Actually, they have been proven as some of the very best medicine to cure grief, high blood pressure, loneliness, amongst a host of other emotional diseases.

The Bible says “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”, Psalms 33:5

Smiling makes people around you feel comfortable. It creates an atmosphere of trust, positivity, friendship, loyalty and great results mostly come out in this kind of atmosphere.

From a Scientific perspective, smiling has the ability to regulate our blood pressure, strengthen our immune system, lower the risk of cancer, increase our life span and give inner peace and satisfaction

But, on the whole, a good smile comes from the Joy (Greek: chara, Latin: gaudium) that the Holy Spirit brings, which is a member of the nine (9) fold fruit of the Spirit (found in Galatians chapter five (5)), when you surrender your life to Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. The benefits that come from this relationship are numerous and the inner peace you enjoy are enormous.
